The Universe is a Game World (beta)
Updates on 2024-05-18: Adds the English translation
Our universe is an extremely advanced game world. The map of this world is infinitely large because it can dynamically expand according to the player’s field of vision. This world is also constantly being improved, so glitches and anomalies often occur.
Such a game world is actually created by us, or more precisely, by another form of our existence. We transform into “humans” to enter this game world. Once we enter, we are bound by basic physical laws and principles, such as being constrained by limited physical capabilities and finite time.
The reason for creating such a game world is that in our true form, we can no longer find satisfaction. We believe that true satisfaction is based on tangibility and constraints. When resources are infinite, everything becomes intangible, and intangibility leads to inaction. When time is infinite, there are no problems or challenges, achievements become effortless, and thus, meaningless. In this world, due to its constraints and laws, it is full of problems and challenges. By solving problems, we get rewards and accomplishments, which bring us satisfaction, thus leading to enlightenment.
Regarding achievements, which are the rewards brought by the game, they do not have a singular form, but they vary in size and significance. They are roughly determined by a formula:
r = beta * (t_avg / t_p)
-
beta represents the amount of resources consumed to achieve a certain accomplishment. It is not a fixed constant. It is important to note that “resources” here is a broad concept, including all finite and depletable entities.
-
t_avg Represents the average amount of time a person needs to spend.
-
t_p — Represents the actual amount of time an individual spends.
So, in simple terms, the more resources a person consumes to achieve something, the higher the achievement. Similarly, if the average time all people need to achieve this accomplishment is longer, and the time you personally spend is less, then your achievement is greater.
Achievements also impact our ability to exit and re-enter the game.

r = beta * (t_avg / t_p)
